Bidding Now Open for Express Kid Flash Sale

Bidding is now open for the “Express Kid Flash Sale,” a one-horse online auction of recent Springboard Mile S. winner Express Kid on Fasig-Tipton Digital.   Bidding will close this Friday, January 9, at 4 PM ET.

Paramount Sales, agent, consigns the three-year-old colt.

Express Kid won his most recent start in the $300,000 Springboard Mile S. at Remington Park on December 20 by 6 ¼ lengths, going gate-to-wire and earning a career-best 85 Beyer speed figure. He earned 10 Kentucky Derby qualifying points for the victory.

Express Kid is a winner of 3 of 5 career starts, with earnings of $236,902.  He has demonstrated great versality thus far in his career, having taken his debut going 4 ½ furlongs on July 3, followed by a second in the Prairie Meadows Freshman Stakes going six furlongs on August 16. He is also a winner on turf around two turns.

Express Kid has classic influences throughout his pedigree.  He is out of a multiple winning daughter of Kentucky Derby winner Street Sense, and his second dam is the multiple stakes winner and graded stakes placed Stormy West, by Gone West.  His third dam is multiple stakes winner Storm Beauty, a multiple stakes producing daughter of Storm Cat.
