Oracle Bloodstock to $300,000 for First Crop Runhappy Filly

Hip 380, a filly from the first crop of champion Runhappy, sold for $300,000 during the first session of the New York Bred Yearlings sale. The bay filly was purchased by Oracle Bloodstock, agent for Reeves Racing/R.A. Hills, et al from the consignment of Gainesway, agent.

Eclipse Champion Male Sprinter at 3, Runhappy won four Grade 1 events on his way to career earnings of $1,496,250, including a track record-setting performance in the 2015 Breeders' Cup Sprint (G1). Hip 380 is the second foal out of the stakes placed Curlin mare Charismata. That mare is a half-sister to stakes winner Little Dancer. This is the immediate family of Grade 1 winner General Quarters and Graded/Group stakes winners Honoria, A Shin Top, Unitarian, and Composer.

Hip 380 was bred in New York.
