Andrew Williams Named Fasig-Tipton Australasian Representative

Australian bloodstock agent Andrew Williams has been named Fasig-Tipton’s representative in Australia and New Zealand, beginning immediately.

“It is a privilege to now be associated with such a prestigious company like Fasig-Tipton, a company for which I have always had the utmost respect,” said Williams.  “I look forward to promoting the Fasig-Tipton brand in Australia and New Zealand, as well as assisting Australasian clients at Saratoga in August and at the November Breeding Stock Sale in Lexington.”

A native of Waikato, New Zealand, Williams recently launched his own bloodstock agency, Andrew Williams Bloodstock.  Prior to the establishment of his own agency, Williams spent four years in bloodstock and sales at noted Australian farm Arrowfield Stud, where he was heavily involved selling yearlings and nominations in some of Australia’s most important stallions.

Prior to Arrowfield, Williams spent five years working in stallion season sales for Darley America in Kentucky, where he gained intimate knowledge of the North American Thoroughbred industry, and its participants.

“We are pleased to welcome Andy to the Fasig-Tipton team,” said Fasig-Tipton President Boyd Browning.  “With his experience and knowledge of both the Australasian and North American markets, he is a natural fit to represent Fasig-Tipton in such an important and vibrant region of the Thoroughbred world.”
