The 2026 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky October Yearlings sale continued Tuesday with the second of four sessions held at the Newtown Paddocks in Lexington, KY.

A filly by the late Uncle Mo (hip 426) sold for $800,000 to Donato Lanni, agent for Lundergan Racing Stables (video). The filly was consigned by Heartwood Farm, agent. The bay filly is out of the stakes placed Tapit mare Velvet Crush, from the immediate family of European champion Sakhee's Secret and Grade 1 winner Ermine. Hip 426 was bred in Kentucky by Christian and Karin Bradeen.

"We're very excited that we got both a colt and a filly here at Fasig-Tipton," said Jerry Lundergan, who also purchased a $230,000 Good Magic colt (hip 419) during the session.

"We always loved this filly," said Sarah Sutherland of Heartwood Farm. "We thought Saratoga would suit her well so she was catalogued and intended to go there. We ended up deciding that Saratoga came up too quick, so we thought maybe wait, give her the time, come here. Fortunately, Karin and Christian Bradeen are wonderful owners who always do what's right by the horse. So we gave her the time and they were rewarded."

A colt by Into Mischief (hip 676) matched the session's top price when sold for $800,000 to R T M Racing from the consignment of Dixiana Farms (video). The bay colt is out of the graded stakes placed English Channel mare Brielle's Appeal, already the dam of three winners from three to race. The immediate family includes multiple Grade 1 winner and top-three ranked third crop sire Charlatan. Hip 676 was bred in Kentucky by Dixiana Farms.

"The horse was gorgeous," said bloodstock agent Mahmud Mouni, who signed for the colt on behalf of R T M Racing. "One of the best horses in the sale, in my opinion. Into Mischief is a superstar. Hopefully, we'll have some luck with this horse."

Late in the session, a colt by Into Mischief (hip 755) sold for $700,000 to DJ Stable from the consignment of Bridie Harrison, agent for Peter E. Blum Thoroughbreds (video). The bay colt is out of the stakes placed Candy Ride (ARG) mare Co Cola, whose three winners to date include Grade 1 winning millionaire Search Results (Flatter). The immediate family includes multiple Grade/Group 1 winner Mind Your Biscuits. Hip 755 was bred in KY by Peter E. Blum Thoroughbreds.

"I just saw him go by and said 'he's a runner,'" said trainer Mark Casse, who signed the ticket on behalf of DJ Stable. "I called up Jon Green and said, 'He's the one I want.'"

"It was a strong second session of the Kentucky October Yearlings sale," said Fasig-Tipton President Boyd Browning. "We saw competitive bidding throughout the day. I don't think there's any real significant surprises in the marketplace. We've seen the same trends that existed at the beginning of the yearling season this year."

Through two days of selling, 537 yearlings changed hands for $33,012,500, up slightly from when 529 yearlings were sold for $32,776,500 during the first two sessions of last year's sale. The average was $61,476 and the median was $35,000. The RNA rate is 23%.

The Kentucky October Yearlings sale continues tomorrow at 10 AM. Results are available online.
