July Selected Horses of Racing Age catalogue now online

Fasig-Tipton has released the initial catalogue for its July Selected Horses of Racing Age sale, to be held Tuesday, July 14, in Lexington, Kentucky. The sale will begin immediately following the conclusion of The July Sale of selected yearlings that same day.

Fasig-Tipton will continue to accept approved entries up until sale time.

Offerings of note include:

  • R Bee Gee (hip 301): 3YO filly by Constitution is a half-sister to champion and millionaire Moira and to stakes winner Jungle Cry. Consigned by Warrendale Sales, agent.
  • Rodriguez (hip 302): 4YO colt by Authentic won last year’s Wood Memorial S. (G2) and has current earnings of $622,800. Consigned by ELiTE, agent.
  • Rose Ruler (hip 303): 4YO son of American Pharoah is twice a winner and once second in three starts this year, including a 1 ½ length victory in allowance company at Churchill Downs in his most recent start on June 11. Consigned by John Ennis Training, agent.
  • Venencia (FR) (hip 314): A debut winner at 2 in her native France, she won last year’s Dowager S. (G3) and is a multiple stakes winner and twice Grade 2 placed in the United States. She was just second in her most recent start in the Keertana S. at Churchill Downs on May 23. Consigned by Gainesway, agent.
  • West Hollywood (hip 316): Graded stakes winning son of Uncle Mo is a half-brother to Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1) winner Pizza Bianca. He was third in the Arlington S. (G3) at Churchill Downs in June.  Consigned by Hunter Valley Farm, agent.
  • Madaket Road (hip 320): Grade 1 stakes placed and multiple graded stakes placed son of Quality Road comes into the sale off a last out victory in allowance company at Churchill Downs on May 8. Consigned by ELiTE, agent.
  • Arctic Wolf (hip 321): 2YO colt broke his maiden on debut in maiden special weight company at Belmont at the Big A on June 18. Consigned by Paramount Sales, agent.
  • Gunmetal (hip 338): Grade 2 placed son of Gun Runner is a winner from 2 to 4. In his most recent start, he captured an allowance at Churchill Downs on June 6. Consigned by ELiTE, agent.
  • Life’s Dynamic (hip 341): 3YO filly by Practical Joke was a 4 ¾ length winner on debut in maiden special weight company at Colonial Downs on June 28. Consigned by ELiTE, agent.
  • Hedge Ratio (hip 343): 3YO colt by Speightstown has won three of six career starts to date, including a last-out victory in the Long Branch S. at Monmouth Park on May 10. Consigned by ELiTE, agent.
  • Pagode (hip 349): 4YO son of Constitution was second, beaten just a head, in allowance company at Churchill Downs on June 13. Consigned by ELiTE, agent.
  • Pot’s Right (hip 350): 2YO daughter of Bolt d’Oro won her debut at Keeneland in April and is entered in the Schuylerville S. at Saratoga on Friday. Consigned by Paramount Sales, agent.

July Selected Horses of Racing Age graduates continue to deliver their connections success at the highest levels. Since the sale’s launch in 2013, graduates have earned more than $110 million, with 87 individual stakes winners and 28% stakes horses in nearly 18,000 starts.

The sale’s most prominent recent graduates include Fort Washington, winner of the Arlington Million S. (G1) and a five-time graded stakes winner; Nakatomi, winner of the Alfred G. Vanderbilt H. (G1) and Phoenix S. (G2); and Banishing, winner of the Godolphin Mile (G2) and the Charles Town Classic (G2) among his three graded stakes victories.

Entries may now be viewed via the sale’s enhanced online catalogue, which features pedigrees, race replays, statistical links, Ragozin “sheet” numbers, and continuously updated Daily Racing Form and Thoroughmanager past performances.

Prospective buyers may also sign up for email alerts to receive pedigree and race-record updates, as well as notifications of new sale entries as they are accepted.

The July Selected Horses of Racing Age catalogue will also be available via the equineline sales catalogue app. Print catalogues will be available on the sales grounds in the week leading up to the sale.
