HAPPY LIKE A FOOL, multiple graded stakes winner and Royal Ascot performer, sold for $1,450,000 at The November Sale. Offered as Hip 201, the three-year-old daughter of DISTORTED HUMJOR was purchased by Blandford Bloodstock from the consignment of Bluegrass Thoroughbred Services, agent.

HAPPY LIKE A FOOL won the Matron S. (G3) at two and finished second in the Queen Mary S. (G2) at England’s Royal Ascot meet. She followed her up her two-year-old success with a dominating victory in the Miss Preakness S. (G3) this year at three. She has won three of eight starts and earned $275,197 for owners Merriebelle Stable, Michael B. Tabor, Derrick Smith, and Mrs. John Magnier and trainer/breeder Wesley Ward. She was offered as a racing and/or broodmare prospect.
