Daddys Lil Darling to M.V. Magnier for $3,500,000

Grade 1 winner DADDYS LIL DARLING sold for $3,500,000 at The November Sale. Offered as Hip 180, the four-year-old SCAT DADDY filly was purchased by M.V. Magnier from the consignment of Gainesway, agent for Normandy Farm.

DADDYS LIL DARLING is a product of the Normandy Farm breeding program, the legacy of the late Nancy Polk. This versatile filly won the Pocahontas S. (G2) on the dirt at two and the American Oaks (G1) on the turf last year at three. She is four times Grade 1 placed on dirt and turf – in the Alcibiades S. (G1) at two and the Kentucky Oaks (G1), Ashland S. (G1), and Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup S. (G1) at three. She won six times and earnings $1,335,305 for Normandy Farm and trainer Kenny McPeek.

This filly is a half-sister to three other winners out of stakes winner MISS HOT SALSA, who also produced Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint (G1) winner MONGOLIAN SATURDAY and stakes winner VICTORYASECRET.
