Eclipse Champion Older Dirt Female Midnight Bisou (Hip 185) sold for $5,000,000 at The November Sale. The record-breaking earner was purchased by Chuck Allen from the consignment of ELiTE, agent.

Midnight Bisou won no less than 13 graded stakes in her illustrious career. Among those are five top level scores: the Apple Blossom H. (G1), Ogden Phipps S. (G1), Personal Ensign S. (G1), Santa Anita Oaks (G1), and Cotillion S. (G1). Her impressive resume includes eight other graded stakes wins, as well as seven additional Grade 1 placings.

Midnight Bisou won or placed in all 22 career starts, with 13 wins – all graded stakes – and earnings of $7,471,520. She retired as the leading North American-based dirt female of all time. She was campaigned by owners Bloom Racing, Madaket Stables, and Allen Racing and trainer Steve Asmussen.

By two-time Breeders' Cup Sprint (G1) champion Midnight Lute, Midnight Bisou is out of Florida Oaks (G3) winner Diva Delite, by Repent. That mare has also produced Stage Left (Congrats), a four-time winner who was stakes placed at two. The immediate family includes stakes winners Bay Street Gal and Runaway Fair Lady.
