Breeze Easy Goes to $400,000 for First-Crop Justify Filly

Hip 30, a filly from the first crop of Triple Crown winner Justify, sold for $400,00 at The November Sale. The bay filly was purchased by Breeze Easy LLC from the consignment of Four Star Sales, agent.

Justify, by four-time Leading Sire Scat Daddy, won the 2018 Triple Crown and retired undefeated in six starts with earnings of $3,798,000. His first foals are weanlings of 2020.

This filly is out of the Sky Mesa mare Lastofthsummerwine, who has already produced four winners, including Grade 2 winner Conquest Panthera (Kitten's Joy); graded stakes winner Happy Like a Fool (Distorted Humor); stakes winner Hawaiian Noises (Super Saver); and Grade 2 placed Maniacal (Kitten's Joy). The immediate family includes Grade 1 winners Nine Keys, Silver Voice, and French Colonial.

Hip 30 was bred in Kentucky by Magnolia Bloodstock & Lynches Bages LTD.
