First Crop Speightster Colt Sells for $285,000

Hip 169, a colt from the first crop of Dwyer S. (G3) winner Speightster, sold for $285,000 at The July Sale. The chestnut colt was purchased by Robert E. & Lawana Low from the consignment of Denali Stud, agent.

This colt is out of Cheap Perfume, a winning half-sister to King's Bishop S. (G1) winner Capo Bastone and a full sister to Graded Stakes placed  C J's Leelee, herself the dam of stakes placed winner  C J's Awesome.  This is the immediate family of Graded/Group Stakes winners Tobin Lad and Jetto.

Hip 169 was bred in Kentucky by WinStar Farm, LLC.
