Five Star Momma to Silverton Hill for $175,000

FIVE STAR MOMMA (Hip 123), a multiple stakes winner by FIVE STAR DAY, sold for $175,000 at the Kentucky Winter Mixed sale. The FIVE STAR DAY mare was purchased by Silverton Hill from the consignment of James B. Keogh (Grovendale), agent.

Five Star Momma won the Lady in Waiting S. and Chip S. at four, and was four times graded stakes placed, at 2 and 4. Her first foal, a colt by VIOLENCE, sold for $275,000 as a yearling and was placed in his only start last year at two. She has a two-year-old TIZNOW filly and a yearling STAR GUITAR colt.

Five Star Momma is out of a winning full to sister to graded stakes winner ENGLAND’S ROSE, from the immediate family of Grade 1 winner NAVARONE and graded stakes winner MOON SPIRIT.
