A filly from the first crop of multiple Grade 1 winner CARPE DIEM sold for $230,000 during the third session of The October Sale. Offered as Hip 813, the bay filly was purchased by Ben McElroy, agent from the consignment of Denali Stud, agent for Stonestreet Bred & Raised.

This filly is a half-sister to three winners out of the unraced CORONADO’S QUEST mare LE RELAIS, most notably SOLDAT, winner of his generation’s Fountain of Youth S. (G2) and With Anticipation S. (G3). LE RELAIS is a half-sister to graded stakes winner MULRAINY and to MALBAY SLEW, dam of stakes winner WINE THIEF.

Hip 813 was bred in Kentucky by Stonestreet Thoroughbred Holdings.
