A filly from the second crop of CAIRO PRINCE sold for $300,000 during the first session of The October Sale. Offered as Hip 310, the bay filly was purchased by Stoneway Farm from the consignment of Brereton C. Jones/Airdrie Stud, agent.

CAIRO PRINCE, a Grade 2 winner at two and three, is currently the second leading freshman sire by earnings. His talented first crop includes 14 winners to date, with Iroquois S. (G3) winner CAIRO CAT and PAKHET, recently second in the Jessamine S. (G2) at the head of the class.

This filly is out of the unraced HARLAN’S HOLIDAY mare CHURCH BY THE SEA, making her half-sister to Miss Grillo S. (G3) winner SIGNIFCANT FORM and Commonwealth Turf S. (G3) winner HAY DAKOTA, both multiple stakes winners. CHURCH BY THE SEA is a half-sister to six winners, including Brade 2 winner HELLO LIBERTY and stakes winner PIOUS ASHLEY.

The immediate family includes Grade 1 winner SET PLAY, graded stakes winner WITH A TWIST, and 20-time victor and stakes winner MINSTEL GREY.

Hip 310 was bred in Kentucky by Brereton C. Jones.
