Voyager Goes to $280,000 for Tapit Colt

A colt by three-time leading sire TAPIT sold for $280,000 during the final session of The October Sale. Offered as Hip 1399, the gray or roan colt was purchased by Voyager Stable from the consignment of Indian Creek, agent.

This colt is a half-brother to three winners out of SUNNY, by DIXIELAND BAND, including three-time New York stakes winner GET JETS, who was also graded stakes placed. SUNNY is a half-sister to stakes winner WAKE UP KISS, who produced Japanese Group 1 winner and multimillionaire A SHIN FORWARD and stakes winner WAKE UP IN MALIBU.

The immediate family includes Grade 1 winner and influential sire FAPPIANO, as well as Grade 1 winners TOHO JACKAL, DARE and GO, GO DEPUTY, and QUIET AMERICAN.

Hip 1399 was bred in Kentucky by Pat Pavlish.
