The Midlantic Two-Year-Olds in Training sale has developed into one of the leading auctions in the nation, buoyed by a constant stream of graded stakes winning graduates and the benefits of working over a dirt race track.
In 2025, the Midlantic May Two-Year-Olds in Training sale produced record results in the sales ring, placing it at the top of all US two-year-old sales in a number of categories. It was the only sale to produce double-digital percentage increases in all categories: a gross of more than $44,000,000 (+18.5% over the previous record), an average of $135,560 (+42% over previous record), and a median of $60,000 (+20% over the previous record). With four juveniles selling for $1,000,000 or more at last year's historic renewal, the sale also produced more 7-figure sales than any other US two-year-old sale. It also marked the 11th consecutive year a sale-topper has grossed seven figures and the first time multiple offerings sold for $1,000,000 or more.
