Mike Watchmaker Analysis
Has finished third or better in nine of her 16 career starts, winning three times. This 4-year-old daughter of Leroidesanimaux made her first seven career starts on dirt and finished second or third in five of those races at distances ranging from 5.5 to 8.5 furlongs, although she has focused on routing for most of her career. But in her first start on a synthetic surface at Presque Isle Downs, she responded with a decisive maiden victory as the favorite, and followed by picking up minor awards in two subsequent allowance races. She showed her versatility when she advanced through her first-level allowance condition on the dirt main track at Oaklawn Park earlier this year, and then graduated through a tougher allowance condition three starts later back on synthetic at Presque Isle. In between those victories, she made her only two career starts on turf. The first was a reasonably good sixth after a show of speed at Keeneland in a 12 furlong event that might have been a bit beyond her scope, and in the second, she was severely compromised by a bad start. In view of these circumstances, and given her success on synthetics, turf remains a viable option for her. She is a full sister to the graded stakes performer La Reine Lionne, as well as a half-sister to stakes winner Battle Of Love.
