A colt by three-time leading sire TAPIT sold for $225,000 during the third session of The October Sale. Offered as Hip 825, the gray or roan colt was purchased by Calumet Farm from the consignment of Gainesway, agent.

This colt is out of the unraced GIANT’S CAUSEWAY mare LINDSAY’S WAY, already the dam of a multiple winning son of TAPIT in GAIN GROUND. Dam is out of French stakes winner TENGA, making her a half-sister to Grade 1 winner and multiple graded stakes winner STARTAC. The immediate family includes Grade 1 winners LANDALUCE and JADE FLUSH, as well as 2018 Saratoga Special S. (G2) winner CALL PAUL.

Hip 825 was bred in Kentucky.
