Whispering Oaks Goes to $300,000 for Elusive Quality Colt

A colt by ELUSIVE QUALITY, sire of eight champions, sold for $300,000 to during the first session of The October Sale. Offered as Hip 240, the bay colt was purchased by Whispering Oaks Farm from the consignment of Lane’s End, agent.

This colt is out of the BRIDGETTE BORDEAX, a stakes placed winning daughter of MEDAGLIA D’ORO. Dam is a daughter of multiple stakes winner MEADOW BRIDE, a daughter of multiple stakes winner BONITA MEADOW and a half-sister to stakes winner PRAIRIE KING and multiples stakes producer DRUMLIN.

The immediate family includes multiple G1 placed multiple stakes winner COPPER STATE and stakes winners DEVIL’S HALO, SUPER CIEL, and CARUSO.

Hip 240 was bred in Kentucky by Godolphin and Asiel Stables.
